Job Summary and Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas or compact state. 

• BCLS 

• ACLS 

• Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN. 

• Reads and writes Basic English with the basic skills necessary to transcribe physician’s orders. 

• Knowledge of body substance isolation. 

• Ability to listen, empathize and respond to patient, family, internal and external partners needs. 

• Speak/understand Spanish 

• Preferred experience as RN in Critical Care. 

• Preferred experience a RN 1-2 years in Med-Surg or Telemetry. 

• TNCC and CCRN Certification 

• Effective communication skills; both orally and written. 

• Basic Computer skills and proficiency 

• Ability to work with others within a team to ensure high quality patient care. 

• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal & organizational skills. 

• Ability to move an excess of 100 pounds, with assistance from other staff
